I had been shaving with the R41 and I recently got a Superslant L3 and a L1++. I was unfamiliar with slants and the bulky head and angle has a learning curve but I would not call the L3 aggressive.

A nice mild razor! Plus being 3-piece you can find your most congenial handle.
One caution, one observation:
It's an aluminum head. I thought it was zamak. So be careful of the finish.
I was amused to note the head is supposedly a differential head (one side more aggressive than the other). I was unable to notice any difference. You may, so be alert to that. Otherwise, lather up and go right at 'er.
