LL Bean Toiletry Kits

The hanging ones is what my question is about. So looking at the site if you are going on a three day trip, you need the large which looks huge. And they make the small look, well really small. I don't need anything huge, I'm just trying to grasp the sizes. Any input from owners would be great.

Im a person who carries a ton of stuff in a shaving bag, I bought the medium and it works out perfect, hands down the best wet pack ever, and extremely well made.

I think the size really depends on how much you need to pack in your toiletry kit. Even if you’re traveling just for three days, you’ll need to carry the essentials like shaving foam & razor, shower gel, moisturizer, a bottle of shampoo, deodorant, etc. I use this Briggs & Riley’s hanging toiletry kit. Although it’s not massive, it is sufficient for my needs.

I bought the small green one about 5 years ago and I've gone everywhere with it. I've packed for month long trips and had sufficient room. These things have a ton of pockets and slots for all your needs. Nowadays I don't take it with me as much just because I've been able to minimize and fit all my stuff into a smaller dopp bag. My wife bought the large one which is huge! I think you'd do well with a small one but if you want to have the option to expand, the medium would be better. Either way, you'll have a great sturdy bag that packs well for travel.

I received one in 2000 as a gift for being an RA at Central Michigan University. My wife did, as well. I have never owned or used another toiletry kit. Every trip I have made for a DECADE has been with this bag. It is still in like new condition, with nary a stain or rip or even a sticking zipper. It is in IMMACULATE shape despite being in the harshest of travel environments - wet bathrooms and cramped suitcases.

I think one of the ingredients in its design is "magic." May not say so on the tag, but it sure enough acts like it.

We received the "Large" size and it's huge. I could easily make due with the medium. My wife keeps full sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and mousse, a hair dryer, and a makeup bag in hers and it all fits.

Same here. I've had the Medium bag for a pretty long time. It's perfect for me. I'm a 'Be Prepared' kind of guy, and I tend to jam a lot of stuff in my bags. This one is perfect.

Although I travel with a shave stick, no mug. I think I could fit the standard sized VDH mug in there, though, if I tried.
