LIST *ALL* YOUR D.E. RAZORS!

Very very nice sir! - Can you show some pics of the side of the shipper for the Aristocrat? Does it say #70 on the shipper or?

I could be wrong, but in the photo the case looks more like a #66 set case with green felt. The #70 case has blue felt and also another imprint logo in the lid?

The razor could be nickel or rhodium, I cannot tell. But no matter what this is a great condition set, whether it being #66 or #70. One of the best shavers and lookers there is. Enjoy :001_tt1:

Thanks!

You are correct. I bought this set from an now-defunct online store. I managed to locate the price tag that came inside the set as it was sent to me. I think the case and razor are a mis-match. When opened, the razor has the #634093 stamped on the inside, making it a #70, I believe. Whatever box it came with, I still shaves like a dream

Thanks for clarifying! Well, it is a wonderful set and the shipper is to die for, you are very fortunate to own it.

The only difference between the razors of the #66 and the #70 sets is that the former is rhodium plated and the latter nickel plated - otherwise the exact identical razor :thumbup1:

Here are a few of mine, compared to the #58 Rocket which is basically the same razor also, same head, nickel plated too, only with a different knurling on the handle.

Left to right: #66, #70, #58

And I fully agree, it is also one of my absolute favorite shavers - only beaten (by a narrow margin) by the Hybrid Tech.

Enjoy!

Thank God I saw this, as I was starting to feel guilty reading this thread. 27 razors in total. 23 de, 3 gems, and 1 sensor excel. I tell myself that's it, no more purchases. Focus on using the huge amount of software at hand and depleting the stock now,i tell myself. Somehow, though, it just doesn't last. A sale here, a great review there, and next thing you know, mail call.

Only the five first razors, I have lost track on the others...
1. Shick Krona
2. Gillette Fatboy, inherited from my Grandpa
3. Gillette 1934 Aristocrat, ingerited from Grandpa
4. Gillette Slim Adjustable
5. Gillette Superspeed, black handle, which I
bought for use when doing my military service.
