Sold most, kept some, and got some more. I still have...

Gillette Old Type (Thin handle, pocket Edition, made in Canada)
Gillette Tech (Made in England)
Muhle R41
Merkur 34C
Merkur 37C
EJ 3ONE6

Should sell the 34C but it's in gold and a thing of beauty.
Should sell the Old but it's the smoothest shaving Old type I ever had and I've had a few.

Err...I should add a Game Changer .84 to the list. I blame post men. :blushing:

Can't do it. I'm not going to sort through my cabinets & pull them out & inventory them. I'd rather not know, to be honest. I am pairing down these days, to the tune of getting rid of 20 - 40 razors. The ones I enjoy? OK, I'll list those:

RFB
'34 Aristocrat
Goodwill #160
Diplomat
Old Type
NEW Criterion
Canadian NEW LC
USA NEW LC

That should do it, for now.

Parker Variant
Red tip 1955 A-4
Slim Adjustable 1963 I-4 (conception razor)
Single Ring 1910
No Name Stainless DE (Muhle R89 similar)
Cavalier New Improved 1928

Prior to starting wet shaving last year my stable consisted of:
Gillette Rocket Parat
Gillette 7 0'clock travel razor
Empire No. 2

Once down the rabbit hole, my collection has collected:
Merkur 34C - wanted to try a "modern" razor
Gillette Rocket HD500 - my Rocket Parat works well, but the swaging on the handle is broken - wanted one that works
Gillette Fatboy 1961 - of course I needed a "birth year" razor
Gillette Rocket - my latest acquisition - the other HD500 Rocket seems to be out of alignment so again, I wanted one that works.

Like most collecting hobbies, it won't end there.

cheers
Andrew

Gillette ball-end Tech
Wilkinson Sword Classic (black plastic)
Well, since I wrote that post, the Tech died. My inventory now looks like this:
  • Wilkinson Sword Classic (black plastic)
  • Van der Hagen TTO
  • Merkur 15C open comb (used to have one, PIFed it, and decided that I liked it enough to get another one)
It's a basic but solid lineup that I'm pretty happy with.
