Linen strop

Question....

Why does my straight razor feel super sharp when i only use my linen strop and not when i use the leather afterwards.

I get a better shave when i only use the linen.

A few strops on the linen and my razor just pings the hairs off.

Don't know. But if it works then just do it. It may be something that helps you learn something new about straights as you progress with it.
