Leather Luggage

I have decided to purchase a few pieces of all leather luggage. Perhaps a duffel bag and suitcase. It seems the pickings are slim. I found a place (saddleback leather)that looks like good quality stuff, made in Mexico.
Can anyone give me any feedback or suggestions? thanks in advance!

I have purchased several pieces from Saddleback this year and have been very happy with them. (Classic Briefcase (Chestnut), Front Pocket Backpack (Tabasco brown), Large Tote for my lovely and amazing wife (Chestnut - she receives unsolicited compliments all the time), iPad mini case and a sleeve, iPhone case, two pouches - all in Chestnut.).

I would say the leather is great quality, construction built with an eye to true durability (will last), and a degree of less "polish" than other products of similar leather quality. Now my experience, and only mine, has been that good leather with that last 5% improvement in "polished finish" comes at a much higher price.

Recommendations as far as luggage-grade items: Saddleback Waterbag - the leather looks fabulous; Another brand to check out - JW Hulme. American craftsmanship made here in St. Paul Minnesota. Several items bought this year too - very nice, but a bit more pricey. I would say worth the extra money, but it is extra dough.

Very pleased with the info you provided regarding the all leather luggage. Looks like i'll go with saddleback. The Hulme products seem like AAA quality but the selection is limited and you do pay for that extra niceness.
Also i ran into a nice looking american bison duffel from Deluth Pack. And they only charged $70. usps shipping to asia. Think i'll give em a call.
Your own expierieience has told me alot, Thanks,Greg
