Leaf Razor

THIS IS THE METAL THAT IS USED ON THE LEAF SHAVE RAZOR. I just got this answer from them today.

The body of the razor is a zinc alloy, plated with Chrome. The small bits in the head of the razor are stainless steel for strength and durability.

let me know if I can help with anything else!

  1. which plating should be the most durable? Something tells me the chrome plating is meant to take most of the damage over time
  2. I figured the flip-open blade holders on the head would be stainless steel.
  3. This razor gives a nice smooth shave. I rotate between this and the oneblade genesis v2. Not sure which I prefer. Maybe slight edge to the oneblade as I find loading the blades quite time consuming and the handle of the leaf is too long. Need to make the handle shorter so you can spin it round in the hand better. It should be the same length as a Gillette fusion handle.
