Lea tallow; like MWF in a stick!

Oh my. That new Lea stick is just great. Nice subdued scent, slick and thick. And simple to lather. Reminded me of MWF in a stick.

Any other fans? Has it pushed your fave sticks down the order??

Your comment about the "MWF in a stick" is spot on-

I have been shaving exclusively with shave sticks for the last couple weeks as I have so many to use up and variety is a good thing right?

This past week or so I have used Arko,Irisch Moos,Valobra,Speick, and today used the new Lea.
It lathers great, leaves a nice after-shave face feel (like MWF), and the smell is not at all overpowering.

At $5 a stick it also is a bargain.

The new Lea stick is a solid performer that simply does work and very well too. However my two favourite sticks still remain the same: La Toja and Valobra.

This is the same ridiculous price I paid my La Toja sticks at "El Corte Ingles" when I was in your beautiful city three years ago!

Oh Marco, you gentlemen in Europe are spoilt for choice; we poor folks in the Antipodes just have to "make do" with what trickles down to us...

Thanks, I hope you enjoyed the visit! (I really liked Rome, beatiful!)

Now La Toja is about two euros. Bloody rising prices...

I had no trouble lathering the La Toja stick, but the new Lea is giving me some trouble. Any suggestions?

Patrick, the new Lea is the softest soap stick I've ever used. When applying to the face my stick leaves more soap on the skin compared to other sticks and I need to use more water to keep the proper water/soap ratio. Hence, the tip is this: apply as any other stick, but lightly wet the tips of your brush a bit more while lathering on face. Also, work the soap more on your face and swirl until it thickens. You should get a lather explosion.
