So, wanted to try another wooden lather bowl but wanted a lip to scrape the brush. I cut this annoying hackberry weed tree down that was about 14-16” caliper a few months ago and stuck some trunk pieces in my shop. They checked some as expected but didn’t ruin. Cut a chunk off today and it has colored up and spalted nicely. Not sealed up or anything yet but interesting character to it.
