You can find more piccies by following the linky in my signature. Any feedback on them on more than welcome!! Thanks!

They all look very nice. I particularly like the short lofts you have on the white/black ones.

What knots did you use in these?

If I can offer a bit of a tip on your site...most fellows are going to want to know the specific knot you have used and the resultant loft of your restores. You also may want to highlight that split/crack (or is that a photo flaw?) on the black/white one in the text rather than just in the photo.

I really appreciate the tips, and any more advice you might want to offer. As you can probably see, I've not even had the shop open a month. Any feedback is more than welcome!

When you say "specific knot" what exactly are you referring to? I have the knot diameters listed, did you mean the type of hair grade? (such as pure, best, silvertip, etc.) I do have that on the red and white and the wooden brushes. I'll have to check my paperwork on the B&W ones to confirm, but I think they are Best Badger. All come from Tony at The Golden Nib.

Oh, that must be a photo flaw, there are no cracks in these handles. I'm not sure I can see what you're referring to, can you tell me where that is in the picture?

I had wondered if I needed to measure the loft. I'll have that up tonight or tomorrow. Thanks!

That long white line looks like a huge split or cut in this photo.

Yes you definately need to list the hair grade, loft, and knot diameter. When you say these are sterilized you may want to note what you have done to do that too as this is rather unusual.

I have finally given in to the bug and have several vintage brushes headed my way that I will be restoring. I may contact you with questions if that would be okey dokey.

Nice. I did a resto with this same handle. Interesting to note, mine had the same discoloration on the white section.

I think the white line is just light being reflected.

These look great and I can clearly see the "crack" is not a crack but simply a reflection. Good job fella but you must must list every detail for the very demanding members here.

All knots from the nib have been sterilized as well as any new brush from every reputable manufacturer so I'm not sure whats unusual. Perhaps he could have been a little more precise buy saying; "All brushes have been restored with new Knots sterilized buy the manufacturer."

Thanks guys, I appreciate the kind words, and the tips on wording and details for sales.

The white line is definitely a reflection. I really would like to invest in a small photo booth, to get some decent pictures without all the glare, but just don't have the funds yet.

As to the staining, both of the ones that I restored have it. One more so than the other. I think it is the glue that was used, an effect of the amber epoxy?

I'll definitely edit those listings for measurements, and for the sterilization clarification.

Thanks again,
Aaron
