Here is my latest, Ebonized walnut, TGN 20mm Finest w/extra hair, 50mm loft, 55mm tall handle.

Thanks for the kind words.
I'm surprized no one asked about "ebonizing". It is a reaction with the tannin in the wood fiber and a solution of vinagar/iron (steelwoo,l rusty nails, etc.). It is applied to the wood and will turn black.
My next one may not be of great interest here, a blush brush for the wife.

I'm intrigued by your ebonizing process very ingenious. How deep does the ebonization procees penetrate the wood? Is it a lasting color?
You have a beautiful brush please post a pic of your wife's brush as well.

It is like a stain, but it is reacting with the wood fiber, not just tinting or dyeing. It does need to be covered with a finish, would not be a durable finish on it's own.
