This is the last knot I have from JB1963.
I bartered with him to get it by making him a brush handle.
These are the best knots I have ever used and the only knots I have used since first trying one.
I had a bunch of Maple blocks stabilized by a friend but they all had internal stress cracks after stabilizing. I'm sure they would remain solid but cosmetically they were not up to snuff.
This was the best of the three that made it to finish line. I wanted one that was made of wood that would last (I am a Carpenter) to go with the others that are hybrid handles.
There is no finish on this handle only superfine sanding and wax buffed.
