Laphroaig 10 used to be pretty readilly available here in Canada ... now it's all gone. :001_huh:

What gives?

It's a temporary shortage. The distillery ran short of band-aids a few years ago. Without this critical flavoring agent it just isn't Laphroaig, so they diverted that year's run into Teacher's blended malt. Don't worry, Laphroaig will be back next year with all the character and flavor you've come to love.

We diverted here to NJ where the 10 and Quarter Cask are in fine supply. In fact, it might be time for another Dram. Don't worry, I won't drink Canada Dry. :biggrin1:

This is very disturbing news for our neighbors to the north. I think there's something in the NATO treaty that requires your allies to keep you supplied in the event of a Laphroaig shortage. You may want to contact the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
