Just a quick heads up. I found some discounted Lamy Fountain Pens (and other items) on a sale website I signed up for a while back. Most of the stuff on fab.com isn't of interest to me (home furnishings, jewelery, etc.), but once in a while something like fountain pens, wallets, or mountain bike gloves show up. I'm not sure, but you may have to create a free account to see the pens.

Thanks for the link, although if you are looking for Safari fountain pens, look no further than our own GouletPens ($28) for fantastic service.

And by the way, Jet Pens always has them for $26 with free shipping, no affiliation whatsoever, blah, blah, blah.

Oops. I didn't do any research on US pricing prior to posting that, mainly because I'm not really into Lamy pens. Goulet Pens and Jet Pens are indeed probably better places to get those.

Todd Nussbaum of isellpens also sells them at a similar price but throws in the converter.

My best deals, however, have come from the UK. I bought the apple green Safari for under $25 shipped from TWD after conversion rate with free converter (special deal they were running). I also got an al-Star for around that price sans converter and back about a year ago got a Lamy Nexx M for what seemed to be around $20 shipped from them. It seems for whatever reason the UK distributor is not at equilibrium with the US one and for once the US does not get the advantage.
