There’s a new razor that is going to be released (or has already,I’m not quite sure...)here in Greece .
Lambda ( λ ) Ares
(Ares was the god of war for ancient greeks) .

Seems to be an open comb ,CNC machined from Nickel Aluminium Bronze .
On the following video is mentioned that it has a blade gap of 0.31 mm ,
blade exposure of +0.06mm and a blade angle of 33.1 degrees.
It’s also mentioned that the razor is hand polished .

And that it comes with a cnc machined wooden case ,
made from African mahogany.

Also that the handle is inspired by ancient greek temple columns ...

In the rest of the video he is just repeating that the razor is a jewel ...

Not much info about (yet)...

Looking forward to it! It's a handsome razor, in a metal that I really like. Did you purchase it from Etsy? And on the Etsy page, there's some little bronze cylinder in some of the photos--any idea what that's for?

The price is outside of my comfort zone for a casual purchase. But that case looks phenomenal, and given the bronze and the styling, I'll purchase one if the reviews are good. (Haven't yet watched the YouTube reviews, but I will.)

No clue. It may be a removable bottom piece like the razorock three piece handles have for counterbalance preferences. Will find out soon enough.

I never buy open comb razors. Not sure what compelled me here to be honest. He did say the Sb was around the corner so I can explore that if needed

Spoke to the manufacturer. He said that it is an old photo when the handle was hollow. The production model is solid so will not be there.

it just arrived in my state. Should be delivered within a week or less hopefully. Will update here

I don’t know what to expect from this shave but this finish and packaging is beautiful. Tied with the rocnel for packaging and easily the best bronze or brass finish of any razor I’ve owned. Follow up later today with the shave report.

Wow--in a world of very similar looking razors, this one really stands out, both for the metal used and the geometry. Can't wait to hear the early reports, and hope you have the patience not to start shaving while driving.
