If its ok with everyone I will love to share my Ares V2 experience here... what could be unique about it (maybe) is that I traveled to Greece (Athens) to get it and met Theodoros who was kind enough to travel hours and personally hand it over to me.
OMG, Absolutely. I would love to hear what happened. But, you should know that I am a very jealous person :)
You should post it here and on the Ares general thread.

The Lambda Ares V2 touched down in Rhode Island today and she's a real beauty. I was equally surprised at how nice the packing is; the wooden box that the Ares comes in is just gorgeous.

On to the shave! I rode the cap and tried to keep the razor head as shallow as possible and was rewarded with a fantastic shave. No cuts, weepers or irritation and my face is as smooth as a baby's butt.

Thanks again to Wally for your generosity in starting this pass around. Very much appreciated!

What an excellent shave today with the Ares! I have the proper angle down with this razor and it was smooth sailing all the way.

I'm going to keep repeating to myself, "You don't need another razor", "You don't need another razor", "You don't need another razor".:001_unsur

Have a nice Sunday everyone!

You don't need just "another" razor. You DO NEED A SPECIAL RAZOR, THE ARES.

Another excellent shave with the Ares. I definitely have it dialed in now, and I think todays shave was actually the best so far.

I whipped up a terrific lather with some vintage Palmolive shaving soap and the aftershave is probably my favorite among all the vintage aftershaves that I have tried so far. It has a nice, spicy clean scent that I really enjoy!

Lambda Ares Bronze Razor - First Report

TL;DR -
a little relearning, the razor is patient, results were a couple of all-day BBS- shaves

Equipment: Lambda Area razor, Spoiler blade (2), Ach Brito Mogno soap, DSC T4 synth brush

First Reaction: This is a well-made razor, long handle, interesting shaped heap. I love the column handle, although it is longer than any of my other handles (longer than the Gillette Slim). The washer is a great idea!! The shape of the head appears to bend the blade to a different angle than most of the razors I've tried.

The Shaves: There is a bit of relearning for me, and @walpan gave me some very good advice - "sharp blade and very light touch". I went with a legendary Spoiler blade coupled with Ach Brito soap and took my time. The AB lather was excellent, the Spoiler was sharp and smooth, but the Ares is much more aggressive than my daily shaver, so I did end up with a few weepers each time I've shaved. The results, though, were right in the BBS- range (due to being a lot more cautious and not chasing a BBS, though I still got a BBS-).

The Impressive Part: The really impressive thing about this razor is that my shaves have lasted ALL DAY!! I shaved over 14 hours ago and don't have much of a shadow started. Where I'm at right now is better than what some razor/blade combos last after just a few hours!!
