Lacing your boots 2-1-3

I was surfing around one day a month or so ago and I came across this.

I figured I would try the boot lacing pattern. From my experience it has made a big difference in my old boots. It has kept my heal firmly planted in my boot all day, no slop.

Any one else do this?

Wow, never knew there were that many ways to lace your shoes.

the 2-1-3 is not ment as decorative though.

I have always had good luck with standard lacing techniques. My food stays put.

I thought it seemed a little silly myself. But it's not like anyone sees my laces. I will tell you it works well.

You shouldn't dismiss it till you have tried it though.

Hmm, I'm gonna try some of these lacing methods out. I have EE-EEE feet up near my toes, but a narrow heel (ie, duck feet). To get boots wide enough to fit my toes, my heel flops around like crazy.
