Being offered is an old straight Razor MADE IN GERMANY by the Alexander Coppel Works, Solingen in excellent workmanship (handmade= Handarbeit) of the world-famous ALCOSO-Solingen brand.
Very famous company for their manual hair clippers, barber razors and scissors. Often called in foreign countries such as the middle East also the "Balance brand".
The razor has a stunning and elegant appearance with its shiny Blue marbled pattern scales. The 6/8" of an inch blade is full hollow ground for your shaving rotation or your collection.
Best Carbon-steel blade masterly thin ground guarantees smooth and stylish shaves. Out of the beginning- mid 1970ies. The razor is from new old stock and in unused condition hasn't seen any water nor soap. An impressive large gilded & crisp Alcoso -PRIMA SOLINGEN- etching complete this fine shaver. Of course it closes perfectly centered and in firm manner.
Stored with care & slightly oiled to avoid rust. Comes with original factory hone dam sharp,wrapping paper and its protective sheath.
