Seeing it there prompted me to start this thread....I may just blind buy it also.I see Italian Barber sells this, I just may have to blind-purchase it. I love the scent of La Toja anything I've tried, how bad can it be??
I just emailed IB and this was their response regarding the scent:Leap of faith taken. Just ordered it. Way back in 2012 someone asked the same question on here that I did, and apparently the poster contacted La Toja and was told it smells just like the cream. Fingers crossed.
Hmm, the cream smells spicy for sure when lathering and shaving, the middle notes are sandalwood and kinda 'smokey' i guess, the dry down is sweeter - an absolutely brillinat classic barber shop scent. Ah well, I ordered some so we will see.I just emailed IB and this was their response regarding the scent:
"I have only smelt it a few times, it's a spicier classic colonia. Something like an acqua di parma with more spice notes.

So what is the verdict?Hmm, the cream smells spicy for sure when lathering and shaving, the middle notes are sandalwood and kinda 'smokey' i guess, the dry down is sweeter - an absolutely brillinat classic barber shop scent. Ah well, I ordered some so we will see.
I use it regularly with La Toja soap (and cream) and La Toja Aftershave. As a huge fan of all things La Toja (shave cream, stick, balm, splash) I want a longer lasting (than the splash) scent that smells just like the cream. I know they have a Cologne....picture below. Has anyone on here tried this, and if so, does it match the cream?
Thanks in advance....
