'L" injector

I recentley picked up 3 L type injectors and was pleasantly suprised with the shaves they give. I am usually one who likes aggressive razors and the L's are known for being mild,
but I got a truly nice shave from the easy rider and grip L's. Anyone else enjoy these injectors?

It is early for me as I only have tried the L and the G but I will cast another plus for the L. Not as efficient as the G but there is something to be said for having the flexibility to be a little "lazy" with technique (hey is that where L comes from?) and still get a great shave without damage.

I would like to try the I as it is supposed to be in between. Was also considering the E but I am not really sure that I want one bolder than the G.

I have a G ,E and an I2 and I knew they were good shavers, but the L's had a rep for being too mild. Thats why I was surprised I got such a good shave with my normal 3 passes

I'm an "N" guy, but the L's are really nice, too. With NOS Schick Plus Platinum blades (if you can find any), they're terrific shavers. I'm always curious what modern blades the gents here think come close (my take: none, really :cursing:). What are you using?

I am using the chinese shicks but I am loking for some NOS Schick Plus Platinum blades and I have the 74's on the way

You know, my Dad used nothing but an L (The Grip version) for years until he died. I thought he was behind the times, uncool, etc. Guess what I shaved with (and loved) just last night--yup, a Schick L injector. Just wish I could tell the old man he was right after all...

Dads usually are right we just don't realize it till too late

Not in my case, at least not with regards to shaving. He's always the first one to jump on the "plus one blade" bandwagon. When he saw my 1912, he said, "Hey, my dad shaved with something like that!" and then insisted that a vibrating Fusion and a can of Gillette goo is as good as it gets.

mine, too, which is where my L came from. i rememer the L and Old Spice Lime a/s -- wish i had inherited a case of that along with the L.

All the praise and no photos! I'm an injector guy but I can't seem to get the injector alphabet straight in my head. I have focused mainly on my hydro-magic and already forgot the letter for it.

Is the grip the one with the gearshift ball?
