What's new

Kudos to Vintage Blades LLC

I notified Jim and Erin that I had a problem with my one month old Rooney 1/2 on Thursday of last week. They responded immediately with some suggestions and assurances that the problem would be solved one way or another. When the suggested solution didn't work out, they immediately sent me a replacement, together with a return shipping label. It arrived today (Tuesday). That is what I call customer service!

Thank you Jim and Erin.

That is good service, but I wouldn't expect anything less from them. I once ordered a 500ml bottle of Harris Pink, along with a 100ml bottle of Pink into which I could decant. Jim accidentally sent a 100ml bottle of Marlboro aftershave along with the big Pink bottle. When I brought it to his attention, he said to keep the Marlboro as an early Christmas gift; then he express shipped the correct bottle, even though I had only paid for standard ground on the original order. I mean, it wasn't like I actually needed the stuff in a hurry; I did have a 500ml bottle of it, after all. But that's the kind of service he offers. Top drawer. I'm glad he and Erin have joined the ranks of esteemed online wetshaving purveyors. It always pains me when I have to make a choice between them.

They are simply put the best, except for leading me into this money pit from a Googgle Search for "Boy Scout Knives"

Yep, Erin & Jim are tops

I called Jim today to clarify an order and ended up talking to him for about 1/2 an hour. He was really helpful and just an outstanding guy. Would order again from him in a heartbeat.

I had the same experience as Neal when I contacted Jim about a shedding 2/1. Absolutely top drawer service can't be beat.

These threads about Jim (and now Erin) typically grow quickly to 3+ pages for good reason: they offer exemplary service. We're blessed with a lot of great vendors here. From that great group, I'd recommend Vintage Blades unhesitatingly to anyone.
