Everyone knows that there are two models out. One with a plastic TTO knob and another with a metal knob. I was wondering if there was any difference between the plastic and metal one. I have the plastic model... in case that's important.

I suspect the metal tto is the older model. No date translation of the date codes exist as far as I know.

Right, I should have been more specific. Is the shave the same with both razors? Or is the metal one slightly more aggressive?
There is actually a third from Canada with a gray handle and metal knob. I've had all three and can't tell much difference between the shaves.
