What's new

Krona Kruiser Replates in today's mail. Very pleased with the results! Pics.

Outstanding work.

While not true "before and after" pics, this will give you some idea of the quality of Sam's work. They go in order of brassing user that is almost in identical condition as the one I sent off, factory, Krona Kruiser replate. Enjoy.

And since I was sending that Fatboy to him, I tossed in a horrible condition (finish wise) Gillette New LC and got that one done too!!!

Thanks again, Sam. Quick turn around too. About a couple of weeks IIRC. Very reasonable.

Woof, those are some beautiful boulevard cruisers you've got! Sam's work is superlative! Enjoy your shaving and thanks for the share.

Everything that I've seen on B&B that he's redone has been amazing and those are absoluetly no exception. Just out of curiosity, did he re-paint the numbers for you as well?

Those are So nice.

Thanks for sharing....I want to get an Old and New replated....so, you inspired me.

Yes, he did re-paint the numbers for me but not the band below the adjuster. I took care of that in about ten minutes. I am sure that he would have had I specified that I wanted it done.

And yes, he only does nickel plating.....bright, shiny nickel. Lovely nickel.

I found Sam to be a very personable chap to deal with. He is very quick to answer e-mail inquiries, offers advice, and shipped them back in a very well protected fashion.

I deal with a lot of folks. I wouldn't hesitate to use his services again in the future and recommend him whole heartedly.

Craftsmanship.....old world craftsmanship.....hard to find these days.

They are almost too pretty to shave with....but that 59 Fatboy?

She is going for a ride around 0530 hours tomorrow!!!!

Regards. And those of you that have PM'd me, I have answered those questions.

I had a replate done and I can't say enough positive about the work and the way Sam responded. He does things in this order:

1. He responds to E-Mails in a timely fashion
2. He gives a price and a time for replating and return
3. He sends a E-Mail with a tracking number when the razor is completed
4. He does things in a quick professional manner
5. His work is superior

This is the way thing are supposed to work and Sam has an old fashioned approach that works. Lets face it, we are more critical than most when it comes to work and time frames. Members of this forum have a different standard than most, this is a fact or we would not be here.

He does amaazing work. About a year ago I rescued a Fatboy from death. The green "hulk" Fatboy.

He then worked his magic and turned it into this...

His skills since then has improved by leaps. I would trust nobody else with either a heirloom or a rare razor.

I was considering getting my fatboy replated but this pushed me over the edge! I have contacted Krona Kruiser he contacted me back very promptly and I will ship this week! Cant wait to see my fatboy back looking brand new :)
