My "new" Krona Kruiser Gillette Goodwill #160 arrived in the mail yesterday just a few short days after I purchased it from the Kruiser and it looks great!

I'm going to give it a try this morning and see how it shaves! As I'm a little "skeert" of this vintage open comb razor, I'm going to take this test drive with an Astra SP loaded in it. :biggrin1:

Ok. My first shave with the Goodwill razor is behind me and I'm very happy with the results. It got an excellent BBS shave that, except for a little razor burn, was free of drama and which didn't cost me a single nick. This is not a mild razor as you can definitely feel the blade when you make your passes, but it is very efficient and also forgiving when used with a blade like the Astra Superior Platinum I used this morning.

I like it and will definitely shave with it again! :thumbup1:

I get a little burn using a LC new with an Astra as well, try a Personna red or better yet a Lada! Some of the best shaves I've ever gotten
