Kohl & Laibach Strops?

Jarrod at The Superior Shave has started carrying a line of Solingen, Germany strops by Kohl & Laibach. I'm not familiar with these. They look like the Dovo cowhide and Russian Leather strops, but are more reasonably priced. Does anyone have any experience with these? They seem like a good value.

They sell a lot of them in France, under the name "Herold." They're pretty much like Dovo strops, but a bit cheaper in price and perhaps with a wider range of products. If you like the Dovo strops or the smaller Solingen-style scale of stropping things (although the >3" width of one of those strops shown is pretty wide), I would not hesitate here.

Yes, according to the description at The Superior Shave, they're also known by the Herold brand. The 3" model looks like a nice piece of Russian Leather.
