Knots size with a DB scuttle?

I'm currently using a E&J BB in small/medium and a tweezerman, both seems to be 20-21mm.

I use a Dirtybird Scuttle for lathering, and I'm almost exclusively using creams. I'm thinking about moving up to a bigger brush, but wondering if a 23mm+ is too wide for the standard diameter DB scuttle.

Does anyone have any experience with a DB scuttle using a 23mm+ knot with creams?

I have used my Rooney 3/1 (22 mm knot) and my Simpson Commodore X3 (24 mm knot) in my Dirtybird without noticing any difference or problems.
