Kiss My Face....hands or brush?

I've been having trouble with getting the Tabac soap I originally bought into a goo lather, and a member here sent me sample of Trumpers to try, to see if I thought cream was easier to use. It definitely was, and I will still try to master my technique with the Tabacs, but I went to my local natural foods store today and bought some Kiss My Face. I've read here that people like it, so figured I'd try it as well, since I just bought the Tabacs, and some of the othres creams are a little more expensive, and not readily available like this one.
It says on it to wet your hands, and make lather in your palms, but when I tried that, it sure didn't turn into a think lathetr, but more like a thick "lotion" if you will. I tried it in a mug as well, with a brush, and it was better, but not quite like the Trumpers.....not real thick, it seemed, How do you people that uses this cream prefer to make lather with it? Thanks!

I use a brush. It lathers fairly well, but it isn't very thick. I also find the scents somewhat one-dimensional. So while I have the mint and lavender, neither is part of my regular rotation.

KMF is cheap and it provides a reasonable shave, but there are good reasons to seek out the classic 3T creams.

Yeah, it was just one of those deals where I wanted to try another cream, after being happy with the sample from a member here, and just went to about the best store I have in this town I live in, and recognized the name from reading about it here, and bought the small tube, knowing the worst that could happen is I'd be out $5.00.

When I shave in the shower with KMF, I use my hands. It doesn't really make a lather that way, but works great as a super slick lotion.

When I shave at the sink, I use a boar brush and face lather. Works up a nice lather that way.

I have found it whips up a very nice lather with a brush.

I have been using some KMF Mint as a pre-shave treatment, and I just use my hands to lather it. When worked with your hands it doesn't really lather, as mentioned above.

I used KMF brushless this morning because I was in a hurry, but it doesn't take much effort to lather it with a brush. It does the job either way.

I put a dollop of it into my bowl and then lather it, adding water a little at a time.

I find that it takes more water than most creams. If you get the ratio right, it will reward you with a nice, slick lather. :thumbup1:
