King of Shaves Alpha Shave Gel . Sensitive Skin.

.......... sure made my skin sensitive.

I found using this gel to be a substandard experience. My blade dragged and I got myself a doozy of a bleeding nick using it.

There is just no comparison between this gel and the superb King of Shaves Azor Advanced Shaving Gel (which I used this morning and gave me another superb shave).

Amazing the difference between these two. More amazing is that when I bought them, they were the same price.

Regards,
Renato

Before I started using a brush I gave many products a try. While never a big gel fan, I have had a good experience with a few. Among the best of these drugstore brands was Gillette Fusion ProGlide Clear Shave Gel. KOS Alpha Shave was among the worst.

As always, YMMV.

Yes, the ProGlide gel was recommended here by a few people when I posted asking if there was any canned stuff that was any good, and I bought some and found it quite okay.
I've certainly had worse than KOS Alpha Shave - namely Burts Bees, Dr. Lewinn's and Arko Regular, but I'd have to rate it as the least good of what currently sits in Australian supermarket shelves in a tube.

I guess that explains why it was on the discontinued shelf at my local store?
