Good morning! It occurred to me the other day I hadn’t used this razor in a while, so why not use it today? I’m glad I did. I had a super comfortable shave. DFS, no irritation. Great shaver in a nice box.

Good soap this. Obvious coconut scent but no sandalwood. The lather was thickly creamy and slick....very nice!
Shave with razor paired with the blade+shim was very smooth and comfortable at setting 9 for 3passes without any issues and a mostly bbs finish. Excellent aftershaves capped off an enjoyable weekend session.

First go with Hybrid Tech. Serene & smooth shave underneath a pillow of Tabac.

Smoother even than my Wolfman WR2, if that were possible. Hybrid for sure, yet I find it more NEW than Tech.

It’s a Declaration Grooming ‘Blood of Kings’ Jefferson with a B9A+ 28mm knot. It was an incredible gift from my friend James (@loot). I had always been skeptical about whether a ‘high-end’ brush made any difference. I am no longer skeptical. This brush has elevated my shaves to pure luxury.

Interesting. Thank you for sharing! Sounds like I’ll have to try something similar some day. My Kent BLK8 is the biggest knot I’ve tried, but it has a smaller knot. Yet it sounds similar to your experience—pure luxury.
