Thanks! When I found the Super Speed at the flea market last week it had almost as much green as brass and much more of either than nickle left. After I got the green off it was a bit too shiny for my taste so I added a little patina back to it. I'm liking the "nude" look.

And very very cool story telling marketing around it. This Melderskin arrived yesterday, a limited time offer cream, very soft, with an absolutely wonderful scent of pine and an undertone and cool feel of menthol. Love it!

Zorrick blade (sampler pack) pulled a little at the start...but no irritation. I am getting to the point where as long as I dont get irritation I am happy. I take my time anyway so mowing it all down in 1 pass isn't a concern of mine.

Funny thing is, I am down to ten razors. A mix of old and new that took me a year to find what I really enjoy. It's hard letting some go, but I am trying very hard to NOT be a collector.

Got on Thursday my Single Ring after it hung nearly three weeks in customs. Today I had a really great shave with it. I believe I like the Old Type better, but there is not much difference. For this ASP blade it was shave number 7 and there was still no tucking ATG. Perhaps blades last longer with better technique. Tried today also the ToOBS shaving cream, which I bought in Brussels. It lathers well, but I prefer the Speik blue/red shaving cream. Today I also got adventurous with the after-shave. I bought ages ago from Harry Lehmann Berlin a pure cologne water. 86% alcohol. It has a nice fresh smell which evaporates rather quickly.

Saturdays are for marriages. Today, my Bulldog married a Bear (Nantahala). My Graydog synthetic brush and Feather were groomsmen. The best man? Kurt Cobain (Nirvana).
