Summary. A joy using my prewar Tech. Never stops to be fun. The Chinese KCG blade is quite a nice blade. Definitely smooth and sharp.

‘66 Slim. Given to me by my father, but I’m not sure if it was his originally or was passed to him by my great grandfather. Unfortunately I’ll never know, but it doesn’t really matter either way.

Razor : Gillette adjustable Fatboy E4 model-Mfg 1959 4th qtr, any range. Well manufactured for that time period with stamping and machining. I like using this razor but the blade tab overhang has to be remembered after using many razors with blade tab overhang protection. Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Gillette 7 oClock SP (4) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Razorock Emperor, nice sharp unique scent for those fellows who enjoy cologne scents + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Lucky dice" 26mm Tuxedo knot. Excellent lather generator, luxury cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Nice brush handle for folks with large hands IMO.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG (7)+ ATG (7) + pickups (setting 9).
Post shave : Razorock Emperor with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :
or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=
Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Gillette Fatboy adjustable razor with a 7 oClock SP blade.
