King Geilltte Empire Gun Metal Case "ODD" ?

ell a while back i got this Empire Case "King Gillette" Gun Metal in Color "Not Tarnished" The interior was pretty clean and it was at a cheap price so i said to myself why not? Well i Really didn't notice it at first but i notice that this one did have a Clasp or a Push Button Lock for Closing, Weird it just stays open and now Closing Clasp ? If there was one then there would of been some kind of Rivet Mark on it and there isn't /

Could this have been a Demo Model? Anyone every seen anything like this?

LOL Alex he is saying that he wonders if this one pictured, is the same older model that came with a latch clasp, but was never attached at the factory, could be a blooper done on a Friday Near Quiting time LOL , You know a Few beers and Rushing to go home ? Its Possible?

when in doubt, blame it on the canadian factory, they seem to have made up a lot of the screwballs noted on here, whether it be upside down patent stamps or backwards spiraling on the bulldog knobs and I'm sure there are others I can't think of right now
