Oops I put this in the blades forum!!!
Probably belongs in the razor forum, but you can use this deal for blades only too I guess.
Well I was at Walgreens to get enveloped for my newbie blade PIF and stopped by the shaving section.
They had a nice display with the King C Gillette products.
And I noticed the sale signs on them.
10,000 points ($10) for every $20 you spend on the King products
Quick but of math and got razor (29.xx) and 2 packs of 10 blades (5.99 ea= $12) put me at just over $40. So that's 20,000 ($20) in points.
Net cost was $20 for the razor (with 5 blades) and the 2 packs (20 total) blades!!!
Not bad.
I was thinking of getting this razor anyway after getting that limited Gillette 3 piece in the case a while ago.
All in all not a bad deal.
Not sure if this deal is regional, but check out your Walgreen if you're interested to see!!!
Now that I think about it though, I should have just gotten 2 razors ($60) and gotten 30,000 points for a net cost of $30 and given one to a co-worker that's interested.
Just to clarify you don't get the money off right away. The points are for later purchases but I go there quite a bit so to me, the net cost is as I said.
Not a bad deal and wanted to try the blades anyway also.
