Is Kydex still a thing? I picture a sleeve that is attached to the fob like a mini knife sheath.I've seen sheaths made of surgical tubing, but they look cheesy. Maybe I'll look into 3D printing one.
Example from eBay

As the P-38 weighs nothing 0.028 Kydex V could work without being to bulky. It is my opinion that kydex would be far too bulky and would more than double the width of the tool itself.
Did not know it came that thin!As the P-38 weighs nothing 0.028 Kydex V could work without being to bulky.
Most common is 0.06 or 0.08 for holsters, the knife guys came a bit later and used the same stuff. For other applications you get thinner sheets.Did not know it came that thin!
Form the Kydex Wiki article. I only knew about two other uses but there are so much more…I've never seen or heard of it being used outside of the holster/sheath arena. My horizons are narrow I guess.
BMW and a Brewzer?A small Olight torch and a Leatherman tool for me. Nice an light except for the ridiculously large key fob.

Just attach your keys to this baby and you will always know where they areGood on yall who can keep up with any of this crap
I used to love Keychain accessories, namely small knives, multitools, flashlights, drivers, you know the deal
After years of frustration and probably thousands of dollars lost in buying, losing and replacing these things, I've decided I'm barely even competent enough to keep just keys on a keychain

place a small piece of electrical tape over the cutter part, where you have to remove to use itI love the P-38 and it's bigger brother, the P-51. I would carry one if I had a sheath for it, but when I carry it as is, it always snags on my pocket, or I jab my fingers on it when reaching into my pocket.
