What's new

Kent infinity 3/4 specs

Finally got a reply from Kent

"Hello,

Sorry for the delay,

Our new range replacing the badger brushes are the same size as the badger brushes.
The Infinity 3/4 :
10cm high including handle and knot 3.5 at widest part of handle 2cm at base of knot
Infinity Plus :
11cm high including handle and knot 4cm at widest part of handle just over 2cm at base of knot.

I hope this helps,

Kind Regards"

So looks like I'll have to take one for the team.

First pics on arrival. No info in where it's actually made, except for the handle stating "Made in England".

I haven't test lathered it yet but first impressions are,

A well constructed handle, not injection moulded but possible turned, see pic of base. A decent weight too.

A dense knot, with around 5mm glue bump.

Soft, very soft. But I've not compared it to my other synths, Kent infinity, Yaqi, T3, Omega

I'll shave tonight and do a few comparison pics with the others.

Well a couple of pics then from tonights shave. The first is a size comparison with my current 2 favourite synths, the second is a quick palm lather. Not too bad for a few seconds. The actual quality of lather for shaving was good from proraso green but no brush should be getting this easy soap wrong. It feels like the V series boar brushes I have in the hand and strangely on the face as well kinda like the Omega S brush, soft but scrunchy. Anyway not a fair mini review as one shave ain't enough to comment much.
