Hi all,

I'm new to DE shaving and have just purchased my first brush but I wanted to know if its normal to have a few straggly hairs? i.e if you view it from above or the side they stick out from the rest of the knot.

I have searched on here and Google for the answer but to no avail.

I've taken a couple of pictures as this might help. Its probably normal for a brand new brush but I would like to be sure as they are not cheap!

This is normal, nothing to worry about.

Yes, totally normal. Every brush has some scraggly hairs.

Perfectly normal. The BK4 is among my favorite brushes. Enjoy it.

As you can see from the above, its nothing to worry about. Just use the brush and enjoy it.
