Lucky me, my MIL is going to England next week and has asked what do I want. Well a new brush of course! I'm considering the Kent AP8 brush as I like the look and because it is badger. I exclusively use soaps and lather in a bowl. Requesting some feedback on this particular brush. Thanks.

Hmm... no experience with the brush, but chances are you can mail-order it as cheaply, or cheaper. And it will be easier to return if it happens to be defective. Then there is the question of finding a shop that sells them, convenient to her itinerary. Sorry to sound negative about the idea, but it seems to me that most of the advantage of buying a brush in person is to buy it in person.
Have you thought about asking for something that is a bit more of a commodity? I would probably ask for as many Palmolive sticks as she is willing to carry.

Royal Shave sells the Kent AP8 brush. Which the poor exchange rate, would it still make sense to purchase it in England? I know that Royal Shave has a good return policy. If you purchased from them and aren't satisifed, you can return the brush as long as you don't use it of course.
+1 on what mblakele said. The Palmolive creams and sticks are a great buy. I loaded up on some when I went to Scotland last year.
