Keepers

Keepers:
Blackland Vector
Blackland Ti Blackbird
Gem Clog Pruf
Gem Ocmm
Lupo 0.95 trident handle
Schick type L
Schick J3
Schick I1
I could part with everything else I own, there is quite a lot to do away with.

My keepers are:

RR GC68 & 84
Rockwell 6C
Stirling SS razor (Both plates)
DE89
Gillette Old Type
Gillette NEW SC
Gillette Sheraton
Karve OC-D

Top of the DE keeper list, based purely on shave quality:

Razors that can be bought new
RazoRock Wunderbar - custom Ti handle
Fatip Lo Storto Originale - the FOCS with Piccolo handle
Karve Christopher Bradley brass OC-C and D - custom brass handle

Vintage
Gillette New Short Comb, common bar handle, re-plated in rhodium

I'm not listing my best shaving Gem SEs, injectors, or SRs. DEs seem to have a wider performance range.

my other 30 or so new and vintage razors I still pullout for the sake of variety

On of the pleasures of this ‘hobby’ is pullling out a long unused razor and getting a great shave.

Maybe the ones I got as a gift. But my opinion can change, so “none” is also an option.
I had many razors I thought will never leave my den.

Down to two ‘keepers,’ my daily driver (Wolfman WR1 polished SS SB 0.74) and my travel razor (Lord L6).
So I hit both ends of the price spectrum!! :a29: :a29:

Five that give me the best shaves are my Merkur 37c & 39c, Fatip Grande(gold & gun), and Big Fellow. I’m happy with any of these, but most often use a slant.

A few that I like to use now and again are my Fatboy, Red Tip, Aristocrat Jr, and FH Tech.

A bunch of other techs and superspeeds, along with a couple of other adjustables lay neglected in a plastic container, on a shelf in the closet.

I have about 50 vintage Gillette razors and would like to reduce my collection. Noone mentions Super Speeds as keeper. Why? I'm asking this because I really like their build quality but I'm not really convinced about the shaves I get.

My keepers:
Fatboy's, Slims
NEWs
New Improveds
R41 GS

My keepers:
- Henson
- King C Gillette
- Merkur 37C Slant
- Baili Victory (3 piece)

My (probably) "wanna find a new owner" bunch:
- Rockwell 6c
- Parker 60R
- Merkur 32C HD
- Feather Popular
+ some chinese knof-offs

Currently I have 30 razors displayed and a Merkur 46C travel set (which is excellent by the way). The ones I will not part with are
-Two Gillette New OCs on Cooncat Bob handles
-Original Tradere OC serial number 00010
-Tatara Masamune OC in black.
-Lupo SS Dual Comb
-Yates 921-Hybrid
-Karve Brass OCs on 4 inch handle and two Windrose handles
-Pils SS
