Keep the goatee clean?

My question is I have recently decided to grow a more thick goatee. Used to keep it trimmed to a 3 but thinking of let her grow to about a 5. Problem is I still want it to look clean like it did at 3. I was thinking some mustache wax to keep the scavenger hairs at bay? Just wondering if thats the right product or if there is something magical just like the rest of the wet shaving products that are filling my side of the sink.

I bet Krew Comb Stick would work for you, It is used to get your flat-top to stand up straight.

I actually find small, sharp scissors to be the very best tool to trim mine. I never have any product in it.

I find that a very light pomade works great for controlling a goatee. The two I like best are Murray's with Beeswax and American Crew pomade.

Comb or brush, just like what's on the top of your head. I don't use product.

If you comb or brush it daily, you will most likely train the hairs to stay in place after a while. Using jojoba oil daily will also help with manageability. If you must use some sort of product, a small dab of pomade or a light application of Vitalis will usually help.
