Karl Malden, Everyman Actor, Dies at 97

He was a great actor. At least he died of natural causes at a ripe age and not due to some disease or something tragic.

I remember him best for "The Streets of San Francisco" and "On the Waterfront." A fine, fine actor.

I think this says even more about the man than his acting career:

Seventy years together? That's something you don't associate with Hollywood.

I will always remember him in the most underated western of all time, One Eyed Jacks in which he starred with Marlon Brando. Great Movie.
