I have decided to take the plunge and give a kami a try. A member here has been kind enough to allow me to borrow one before purchasing. I may have missed it in the wiki section and if so, I am sorry, but I would love to find a good source for reading about the kami razor- correct terminology, honing, etc. Would one you fine folks mind to point me in the right direction? Thanks for being patient with my ignorance.

Take a look at Kentos' sig block. He has links to much of the Kami information. Look up Kentos as a search and settle back with a tall root beer.
Doing a search can come up with a lot of information on them.
