What's new

Just scored a Fatboy at Antique store

I can't believe what I just stumbled on to at an antique store up the road. A Fatboy in the original case. looks very good, all the numbers are black and everything works silky smooth. I'm cleaning it now with SB and clippercide. The case cleaned up like new. The best part is I only paid $2.12 for it. I don't know how to post pics or attach them to this.http://www.badgerandblade.com/forum/media/20504&original=1&c=

Sounds like a sweet deal. But with no pics, this thread is worthless! Just kidding, but seriously you need the pics

Nice score!

Thanks, I'll take pics tonight and try to post them. I used white's silver polish in it and it turned out amazing.

That's one cherry razor! Looks like it's barely been used.

Yes! We all dream of finding something like this. Congrats!

Now the question is, are you going to keep it, use it, and pass it to your kids, or are you going to sell it? I'd keep it to use and pass to my kids, myself. It's rare to find one of these in that condition, especially at a give away price. Fantastic find.

Thanks everyone, I have another Fatboy that's in a little worst condition but shaves really well also a slim that's almost as good as this. All costs alot more money on the bay. My son is 28 and only knows a Mach3 so he may end up with it eventually, if he plays his cards right.

I thought I stole mine at $12, and you're asking if you paid too much? So tell us, were you armed when you took advantage of that poor clerk at the antique store?:scared:

That is sweet!

In that condition, with the case and all, I wouldn't have been surprised to see this razor hit triple-digits if it were on eBay.

But don't even think of selling it. There's a word for razors like that ... its called a KEEPER.

You'll probably be returning to that same store, I bet.
