What's new

Just received my M&F blonde badger

Hey guys,

I just received my new brush that I custom ordered and have been waiting almost a month for.

The brush is beautiful and I can't wait to test it out!

The only thing that bothers me is that there seems to be a little epoxy at the base of the knot... I'm sure this won't affect the functionality of the brush but I did pay a good amount of money for the brush and expected it to be A1.

Would you get in contact with the brush maker if you were in my shoes?
Will this affect the performance of the brush?

Sorry for the pics being crooked... I can't rotate them for some reason..

let me know what you guys think.

Has anyone else experienced this with their M&F brush?
If so what was the outcome.

Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

Ehh, it's just a little glue at the very bpttom of the knot. It wouldn't bother me, personally. Though I understand why you wanted a perfect brush, considering that it took a month to get it I wouldn't send it back to wait longer. Reserve that for a serious problem like shedding or if the knot falls out.

Your call though.

If it were me, I'd send Lee photos and ask him what he thinks? I have a couple brushes that have a little glue showing, and it doesn't bother me. But yours appears to be more pronounced. I wouldn't expect it to have any affect on performance. Best in any case to ask Lee.

Thanks for the feedback guys!
I've sent Lee an email this morning with a pic and am waiting to hear what he says.
It honestly doesn't bother me too much but I'd be happier if I would've received a "perfect" brush.
It just doesn't look right...

The group buy thread has a member with the same issue... he was able to take care of it himself and it looks perfect
