Just purchased a 9/16 Kranks 99 from Larry Andro at Whipped Dog. Larry was very patient answering dozens of emails with questions from me! I can't wait untill it arrives. I'll keep everyone posted!!

You did great! Just sent Larry an email not 5 minutes ago. He is great to work with. I particularly like that when it's time (and for the price of the honing), he will let you swap out your razor for free!

Congrats and welcome to the addicting world of straight razors. I have essentially gave up DE razors altogether.
Welcome to a new chapter in your shaving routine. I used a DE for the first time today in a month, just because I wanted to know what the standard is that I am aiming at. I got a very unproblematic DFS but it felt weird and boring
