Just ordered Tabac

Been waiting a couple months, I don't order alot of products and tend to just use what I have. So far just been using Proraso cream and green tub and Cade (and love both)
but curiosity of Tabac's scent really has been driving me nuts. Here's hoping I like it.

I know lame, I just saw the "granny panties" comments and was holding. I've been strong holding back on my ad's. I have a computer equipment ad so my shaving den is limited.

Just remember it's always YMMV. I use and love Tabac but I had to get used to the scent. I personally can not use the aftershave or the EDT. I just don't like the scent that much, but YMMV.

If you like the scent of Clubman, my guess is that you'll like Tabac. Both very old school. I have both but use them sparingly. I think Tabac shaves better than it smells, but, clearly, other members really like how it smells.

One really good thing about Tobac apart from the luxurious lather is it lasts for quite a long time.

Well its a good thing if you like the scent!

I hope you do and you can then stop looking for that elusive perfect soap, because you may have just found it.

To me the soap is a milder scent compared to the as. The way I looked at it, if I didn't like it, I could always PIF or sell it. But I absolutely fell for the scent the minute I experienced it.

I think you will be pleasantly surprised. I just recently jumped on the Tabac wagon and immediately loved it. It is my first experience with a soap and I think the smell is fantastic and it lathers like a dream.

Oh I have thru all of the threads in the past few months on Tabac, just the scent I'm going in blind on really. Ordered the puck from WCS, I know fragrancex has good deal but I got good shipping from WCS in the past and just like to deal with any few online vendors as possible. Now comes the waiting.....

Tabac provides probably the best and easiest shave of any soap I have used.

The greatest thing about Tabac's scent is that it does not linger on my face.

I cannot imagine using that stench as an aftershave...oh my.

My wife hated the scent though she is ok with the shaving soap since the scent doesn't linger. Like I said YMMV.

I waited months before I tried Tabac. I'm sorry I did. I use it all the time now, liked it so mush I started using the after shave too.

So, I guess I don't understand what all the hoopla is about. Maybe it is just me, but I think the smell of Tabac is just a real faint, pleasant smell. It just smells... well clean. I was so excited about it I had my father smell it, and his first response was "huh, smells like dial". I agreed to an extent, but I we both agreed that it just smelled clean. Now, to find the right aftershave to go with it! I think it may be Dominica!
