Just Ordered Pelikan 4001 Dark Green

Well, I've been hankerin' for a green ink for a while now. I tried a sample of Montblanc Irish Green, but it wasn't for me. Too bright for my tastes leaning a little yellow. A while back I heard the Pelikan released a dark green ink, so I decided to buy a bottle. It should be here in a couple of days. I'll try to find time to post a review when it arrives.

One of my favorite inks is 4001 Brilliant Black, so I have high hopes for this green in terms of performance.

It looks like it might be a similar to De Atramentis Document Green. Maybe a little more vibrant than Document Green. I'll be eager to hear how you like it.

I have found all of the Pelikan 4001 inks to be awesome, although I haven't tried the green yet.

Pelikan inks are nice - curious to hear what you think of their dark green.

I have almost two dozen green inks. My favorites are:

- Diamine Green-Black
- Diamine Evergreen
- Sailor Tokiwa-Matsu
- Private Reserve Avacado

Green-black and Tokiwa-Matsu are my all-time favs and are always inked in one pen or another.

Enjoy the dark green!

I have the Diamine Evergreen and is one of my favourites :)

Other that I use in my rotation:

- J. Herbin - Lierre Sauvage
- Pelikan Edelstein - Aventurine

For best results, I leave the ink "marinating"some weeks in order to be very saturated, after that those inks write stunningly well.
