Just ordered Feather DX non folding

I've been looking at one of these for some time now. I have both the Feather RG and DX in the folding model, and have reached the point of getting quite respectable shaves with either. I keep both loaded, the DX has the Feather Super pro, and the RG has the regular Pro.

After much reading of reviews on the non folding DX, comparing it with the folding versions, and the fact that I'm getting some money back from uncle on my tax return, I figured what the hey, and pulled the trigger and ordered from Classic Shaving. I enjoy using the Feather straight, its the one I learned open blade shaving with, and I'm looking forward to receiving the non folding version. I realize it will be a different shave as opposed to the folding Feather, but I don't believe it will be a problem. Has anyone who has used both models found any problems or differences?

The reason for this post is to inquire from any members who have used the non folding feather, as to which blade to load it with. Would I be better with the regular pro's or the super pro's? I've tried the pro guards, and don't care for them at all. I get good results from either the regular or the supers, but am just wondering if either would be better for the way the non folding might handle? Thanks for any info.

I am very interested in how it works for you.
I know you have developed you chops with the folding version, so yor take on the "Japanese style" will be very valuable.
You know, I have actually found a good niche for the Pro Guard blades. I keep one of my Feathers loaded with them for my "Early morning, but running late" shaves.
I get a pretty good, nick free shave under brain-dead conditions. I like the Supers for regular shaves though.

I have a Feather RG and the Japanese Style DX. From my limited experience with the RG, and my even more limited experience with the Japanese style, I prefer the Japanese style. I feel the handle configuration gives me more blade control. I have only used it once with a Pro-Guard, but it did not cut me even once, while the RG is consistently cutting me.

I really like my non-folding DX even though I haven't used it lately.
The Super Pro blades give me a DFS with 2xWTG passes.
