Just In! Need Advice

So I'm really excited! My razor sampler pack finally came in the mail. I've been waiting for a while. I guess the delay was due to Sandy :/. Anyways, I've already shaved with my razor twice, with the sample merkur blade it came with. I need to know which blades you guys think are the dullest and/or sharpest and which blade everyone else likes.
I got:
Merkurs
Yellow Gillette 7 o'clocks
Feathers
Bic Platinums
Red Personnas
Derbys
Dorcos
Astras
Crystal Double Edges
This is the second biggest sampler from West Coast Shaving. So any ideas about which one to pop in first?

The red personnas and the crystals are usually a very forgiving blade and provide a nice easy shave, imho.

The Astras are pretty sharp and most people seem to like them. I'd save the Feather's for last and the Merkur and Derby for never - but that's just me.

+1. those would be the best to start with. on the opposite end of the spectrum, the Gillette yellows, Astra, and Feather are probably the least forgiving of bad angle or pressure.

Alphabetically and keep a few notes on each blade. What others think about blades doesn't really matter, all that does is how they perform for you.

I would start with the Astra or the gillette. I agree derby = never and the merkur blades are ok but not worth the money. Out of you list I have not tried the crystals yet but i have all of the others. Derby and Bic are my least favorite. The Dorco 301s are great for the money

Merkur and Derby blades are the devil. Seriously.

I've not used most of those in your list but I like Feathers (my everyday blade) and the Gillette 7 O'clock Yellow blades.
