Just had my third shave with a Fromm hair shaper

I'm slowly easing my way into this straight shaving business (I've been DE shaving since Christmas). I'm still a bit shaky shaving with my left hand, but I figured I'd prefer to be able to use both hands. I only did one pass (as usual with the Fromm) and still had a bit a tiny bit of razor burn but nothing serious.

On another note, I'm pretty impressed with the Fromm. The little guy powered through five days of beard growth to get a CCS in one pass.

From what I have heard, the Fromm very closely mimics a short blade straight razor.

I took it for a few spins, but hacked my face up with it pretty good. I was not 100% convinced the blade I was using was sharp enough.

I have a standard straight to play around with now, and am hoping to have much better results.

I'm hoping to get a real straight razor soon as well. I'm just using the Fromm for now to see if straight shaving would be plausible or if I'd just destroy my face. Everyone still recognizes me so I guess it's all good.
