Ok, I've actually been shaving for about 10 years, but this morning was my first DE shave - which in reality is the only true shave (so I stand by my thread title!!)
Anyway, it was amazing. Felt a bit of pulling here and there as I started, but I didn't have the blade angle correct. Also I was a bit afraid of slicing up my mug, but only gave myself two very minor nicks (that were weirdly enough on the same spot of my face, just different sides). Then I finished up with some Brut Aftershave lotion and didn't have the burn I was expecting. There was a nice little "wake me up" sting, but it was actually really nice and invigorating.
Well, I guess the investment was worth it, and I think I'll use it again tomorrow (or maybe I'll just go back to my electric razor or actually NEVER!)
Thanks for helping me choose a great starter set - even if I was only lurking then...
